Does the person who finds my pet need an app?
No. Any phone camera can read the QR code on the back of the tag. If they can't scan it, they can type your pet's ID into their browser at PetIdPro.com/id/ and land on the same profile.
What gets engraved on the tag?
The front has up to four lines of text that you choose. The back has the PetIdPro.com address, a QR code, and your pet's unique ID number. We adjust the font size and center the text based on how much you enter.
Is the tag really free?
Yes. Every registered pet on an active plan can claim one free engraved tag. Once you've created your pet's profile, pick a shape and color, enter your text, and we ship it to the address on the profile.
What if my phone number or address changes?
Log in and update the profile. The tag links to the profile, not to the printed details, so a finder always sees your current contact information.
What happens when my pet is lost?
Turn on lost mode from your pet's profile. Anyone who scans the tag sees a prominent lost alert and a one-tap button to call you.
